Deepika Padukone’s journey from sportswomen to Bollywood star

Deepika Padukone comes from a non-glamorous background and that did not in any way affect her glam quotient. During her school time, the focus of her life was Badminton. Later, Deepika Padukone changed her mind and decided to become a fashion model. Today she is one of the glamorous actress in Bollywood and is on the wish list of every Producer. 1.Deepika Padukone who is the daughter of the badminton player Prakash Padukone, was born in Copenhagen, Denmark and raised in Bangalore.

2. The focus of her life was Badminton. During her school days, Deepika represented Karnataka at the state level as a Badminton player. Deepika Padukone continued to pursue a career in badminton throughout her school years, and played the sport in national level championships. She also played baseball in a few state level tournaments

3.While concentrating on her education and sporting career, Deepika Padukone also worked as a child model. At the age of eight, Deepika Padukone appeared in a couple of advertising campaigns.
