Sooraj Pancholi are all set to make his Bollywood debut with Nikhil Advani’s directorial “Hero” which is a remake of the same title movie of Subash Ghai of 1983. The movie Hero is under Salman Khan Being Human Productions.

Sooraj Pancholi was so overwhelmed with the first look of his debut movie that he had tears in his eyes. “To this day, I still don’t understand why Salman helped me. I had tears when the first look from Hero was released. I was so overwhelmed. with emotion. Salman has actually helped our entire family — my father, my mother, my sister. When people say I’m like Salman, I just tell them that I can’t be compared to him. If I become even one per cent like him, then I will believe that I have made it in life,” says Sooraj.

Athiya and Sooraj were made to strictly observe a ‘No dating’ policy while shooting for the film and that is likely to continue even during the film promotions and post release as well.

Sooraj Pancholi is a big fan of his mother Zarina Wahab’s work especially in Chit Chor and Gharoanda.

Jiah Khan, late Bollywood actress who committed suicide, was in a relationship with Sooraj Pancholi. Presently he feels there is no scope for another relationship after Jiah. Sooraj is all that much single and not prepared to get into relationship.

Sooraj Pancholi and Tiger Shroff have turned out to be close companions and partners, to such an extent that he has acquired Tiger’s gym trainer to help get the right body tone for his upcoming movie ‘Hero’. They even work-out together when they get a chance.

In an interview Sooraj was cited saying that he never wanted to be an actor until the time he met Salman Khan, Salman Khan had asked Sooraj to come over and meet him personally at YRF. However, Sooraj backed out and did not go to which later Arpita called him to convey the message that Salman (bhai) wants to meet him. When Sooraj finally went to meet Salman at YRF, Salman told Sooraj to work with Kabir on ‘Ek Tha Tiger’.

Sooraj Pancholi stays like a bachelor since he was 16 years old, as he spent most of his childhood living with his grandparents and now even after his grandparents death he stays at the same place alone with four dogs.
