In awe of the superstars who starred in these movies, we missed out some significant faces who were a part of the same.
Vidya Balan in Once Upon A Time In Mumbai Dobaraa
Amidst the mediocre performances by Akshay Kumar, Sonakshi Sinha and Imran Khan, Vidya came in like a breath of fresh air in the second installment of Once Upon A Time In Mumbai. We were all surprised when Vidya appeared wearing a burkha for a song in the movie.
Nawazunddin Siddiqui in Munna Bhai MBBS
This is not the first time the actor went unnoticed on the big screen. Nawazuddin had a big role to play in Aamir Khan’s Sarfarosh. He was even seen in the music video of the song Emotional Atyachaar from Dev D. In Munnabhai MBBS, Nawazuddin had a very small role to play. He appeared as a pickpocket for a couple of minutes in the movie.
Karan Johar & Farah Khan in Kal Ho Na Ho
Farah and Karan are known to make cameos in their own movies, but this time they did so for Nikhil Advani’s directorial debut, Kal Ho Na Ho. They both were seen having lunch at a restaurant in one of the scenes.
Avantika Khan in Ekk Mein Aur Ekk Tu
Imran Khan’s wife, Avantika appeared for a step or two in the music video of ‘Aunty ji get up and dance.’ It was quite a pleasant surprise to see her special appearance and they both look like they were enjoying their screen time together.
Kiran Rao in Dil Chahta Hai
It is safe to say that Kiran and Aamir’s love story blossomed during Dil Chahta Hai. Kiran Rao was an assistant director in this Farhan Akhtar directorial, but she also had a small role to play in the film.
Tabu in Main Hoon Na
Farah Khan considers Tabu as her lucky charm, and so, Tabu made a cameo appearance in her directorial debut, Main Hoon Na. She made a blink-and-miss appearance in the scene where everyone is trying to teach SRK to dance for the prom.
Imtiaz Ali in Black Friday
Director Imtiaz Ali ,who has movies like Tamasha and Jab We Met to his credit, appeared in Anurag Kashyap’s Black Friday. He played the role of Yakub Memon and appeared for a brief time on screen.
A round of applause for all the directors for placing these stars in their movies ever so slyly!
