There’s always a first time to everything, and in its 100+ years of existence, Bollywood has had quite a lot of memorable ‘firsts.’ Let’s take a look at some of them:
1) First Threesome Film
With the release of this hideous poster, came the announcement that Ishq Junoon is going to be the first Indian film to revolve around a threesome. Aka 70% of Charlie Sheen’s married life. Yaay!
2) First Gay Kiss
Dostana, directed by Karan Johar, was the first Indian film to feature a liplock between two men. Even though it lasted for a mere couple seconds and it looks fake AF, it still counts, right?
3) First time an adult star got paid to cover up.
Or as you’ve known it so far: Sunny Leone’s Bollywood debut. With her immense popularity in Bigg Boss 5, Sunny had a film offered to her by Mahesh Bhatt while she was still an inmate! Jism 2 was the first of the many films that typecast her as the sexy girl.
4) First and only actor to play 12 roles.
Priyanka Chopra played 12 roles, one for each sun-sign, in ‘What’s Your Rashee?’ Despite the interesting plot, and the immense amount of hard-work put in by Priyanka, the audience said ‘Jaao Na’ to her and Hrithik Roshan, whoops sorry, Harman Baweja’s chemistry!
5) First Bollywood actor to present at the Oscars
And Priyanka has gone down in the history books once again, for being the first Bollywood actress to present at the Oscars 2016! Though many debate that Miss India and Star Trek actress Persis Khambatta was the first Indian to present, we don’t find any reason to complain!
6) First Bollywood Actor to do a Tamil Film
Robot 2 will make Akshay Kumar the first mainstream Bollywood actor to make a move to Tamil films! What makes Akshay’s Tamil debut even better is the fact that he will starring opposite Rajnikanth! Is there any chance to book the tickets, like right now?
7) First one-take shot
Aishwarya, who plays Dalbir Kaur in the upcoming Sarabjit biopic, opposite Randeep Hooda is rumoured to have delivered the longest and quickest one-take shot in the history of Bollywood! Looks like Aishwarya’s ready to resume her reign over Bollywood.
