Sushmita Sen

Former Miss Universe and successful Bollywood actress, Sushmita Sen has two daughters she raised on her own. The actress proved how brave she is when at the age of 25 she adopted a girl child named Renee. The actress never got married and raised her daughter without any support from anyone. After a decade of adopting Renee, the actress adopted a three month old baby girl and named her Alisah. Even without a male figure shadowing them, their family of three seems to be one of the happiest in all of Bollywood.

Pooja Bedi

Daughter of actor Kabir Bedi, Pooja Bedi divorced Farhan Ebrahim in 2003 and since then has raised their only daughter Aalia single handedly. Pooja has successfully juggled between having a glamorous career and raising her daughter right and both the mother and daughter share a special bond.

Neena Gupta

Actress Neena Gupta was in a relationship with West Indies cricketer Viv Richards in the 90’s when she had Masaba. The actress even disclosed to the media that Masaba is a love child. She has been very brave and raised her daughter single handedly who is now a successful fashion designer. 

Babita Kapoor

Kareena and Karishma’s mother Babita Kapoor too had a brief career in Bollywood before she tied the knot with beau Randhir Kapoor.
