Arbaaz-Malaika to Give Their 18-Year-Old Marriage One Last Try. Here's More On That

Trying to quash their divorce stories, a couple of days ago, Arbaaz Khan and Malaika Arora Khan have released a joint statement. It is, however, believed that Arbaaz released the statment on his own and Malaika has no intention of salvaging her 18-year-old marriage.

Certain sources also suggest that the estranged couple is undergoing a counseling session and the two are on a trial period.

Shedding more light on the same, a friend of theirs has been quoted by a publication saying, “On patriarch Salim Khan's instructions, Salman (who was helping the duo to mend ways) too has decided to stay out of the matter. On the insistence of both their families, Malaika and Arbaaz are now taking six months out and will decide whether to file for divorce by the year end. This is the waiting period.”

Contrary to what’s mentioned in the press statement, Malaika is said to be in consultation with a divorce lawyer Vandana Shah for the past one month.
